Arion Bank advises on ISK 6.7 billion capital increase for Laxey

Laxey has completed a €46.7 million capital increase, equivalent to approximately ISK 6.7 billion, to finance the continued development of the company in Vestmannaeyjar.

Since its establishment, Laxey has raised approximately ISK 29 billion in equity, and Arion Bank Corporate Finance has worked successfully alongside the company throughout this journey.

In parallel with the capital increase, Laxey has signed a binding term sheet for a syndicated loan to refinance existing debt and to fund the next phase of the company’s development. The lenders are Arion Bank, DNB Carnegie, Rabobank and Eksfin.

We would like to thank Laxey for this fruitful collaboration and extend our sincere congratulations to the company on reaching this important milestone in its development.
