Ar­i­on Bank ad­vi­sor in Gar­ri's ac­qui­si­tion of con­trol­ling stake in Mek­ka Wines&Spir­its

Arion Bank's Corporate Advisory was the advisor to Garri ehf. in the company's acquisition of an 80% stake in Mekka Wines&Spirits hf.

Garri was founded in 1973 and has built a strong position in the corporate and restaurant market with sales of food products, packaging, and hygiene solutions.

Mekka has been operating since 1995 and has for many years been one of the largest alcohol wholesalers in the country.

The acquisition marks the merger of two well-established companies in the wholesale market and is an important milestone in the continued development and growth of the business.
