Arion is the Bank of the Year according to The Banker - for the fifth consecutive year

The respected financial magazine, The Banker, published by The Financial Times, has selected Arion as the bank of the year in Iceland for 2025. This is the fifth consecutive year that Arion Bank receives this title.

In its justification, The Banker refers to, among other things, Arion's strong profitability and targeted actions to expand its service offerings. The Banker mentions the acquisition of Arngrímsson Advisors, which increased the options available to the bank's customers when it comes to investments in foreign funds, especially in the field of specialized investments. The planned merger between Arion and Kvika and continued investments in digital solutions are also highlighted.

Earlier this year, Arion Bank was named Iceland's bank of the year 2025 by the financial magazine Euromoney, for the second consecutive year.
