At Arion, we actively participate in our community, including through grants related to our core business that support the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

We support diverse charitable causes and community projects throughout the country, both through centralized support and contributions from branches in their local communities.
We place strong emphasis on partnerships that promote equality, welfare, and positive social development, including support for research and knowledge building. In this way, we aim to stand with the community, strengthen trust, and contribute to a better and more sustainable future.
Every year, we provide grants to numerous projects and organizations that aim to improve quality of life, strengthen communities, and support individuals in various circumstances.
An overview of the main grants and community projects is compiled and published in the bank's annual report each year.
We make a positive impact and actively participate in our community, including through grants related to our core business that support the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, with special emphasis on the following goals that we prioritize:
Gender equality
Affordable and clean energy
Decent work and economic growth
Industry, innovation and infrastructure
Responsible consumption and production
Climate action
We do not support projects based on personal interests or business connections, we do not fund business operations, and we strive to keep the process transparent and simple.

The Arion Group wants to be an active participant in the community. We enjoy welcoming guests to our premises and host numerous meetings, conferences and events. We participate in various events and are dedicated sponsors as demonstrated by numerous examples.

Arion Bank is one of the sponsors of HSÍ (Icelandic Handball Association) and has supported Icelandic handball for many years. The bank is also one of the main supporters of the Icelandic Sports Association for the Disabled and has been for decades. Additionally, sports clubs throughout the country receive support.

We support diverse charitable organizations and knowledge development in the field of equality and business. Our support extends to both nationwide projects and initiatives in the local communities where our branches operate.
