You can order a gift card with or without pre-loaded funds. Gift cards without funds can be sent to you, and you can add money to them whenever it suits you.
The maximum amount for each gift card is ISK 200,000. Please note that according to the Tax Authority's assessment, bank gift cards provided by employers to their staff are considered taxable income for the recipient.

Under Payments in the menu, select Pay into a credit card.
Select the account you want to pay from and enter the account PIN.
Under Credit cards in the drop-down menu, select Enter card number.
Enter the amount you want to add to the card and the 16-digit gift card number.
Finally, enter Arion Bank's gift card department ID number: 521107-9950.
Select Continue, check the details and confirm the payment by selecting Confirm.
Open Wallet, select the ‘+’ icon in the top right corner, and follow the instructions.
Open Google Wallet and select ‘Add to Wallet’. Enter the verification code that you receive via SMS.
Open the Apple Watch app on your phone, select ‘Wallet & Apple Pay,’ and then choose ‘Add Credit or Debit Card.
