Arion Bank has established a 3.5 billion euro covered bond issuance framework. On November 25, 2011, Arion Bank received authorization from the Financial Supervisory Authority to issue covered bonds in accordance with Act No. 11/2008 and Regulation No. 528/2008 on covered bonds.
The Financial Supervisory Authority oversees the issuance and also appoints an independent inspector.
