Arion Bank completes covered bond offering

Today, Tuesday 9 December, Arion Bank completed an offering of two new series of covered bonds, 7-year and 15-year instruments respectively. 

Offers totalling ISK 10,340 million were received and offers worth ISK 6,360 million were accepted. In the 15-year series offers worth ISK 5,220 million were accepted at a yield of 3.50% and in the 7-year series offers worth ISK 1,140 million were accepted at a yield of 3.60%. 

The bonds are linked to the consumer price index and are scheduled to be admitted to trading on Nasdaq Iceland this December.
