Private equity fund VEX invests in software company Annata

Before the acquisition Annata was wholly owned by employees who will continue to lead the company’s future development.
Annata is an international software company headquartered in Iceland. Annata’s story is part of the strong growth which has taken place in the software industry in Iceland in recent years. The company was founded 20 years ago and to this day it is still run by its founders. The company has approximately 200 employees across 13 countries. Annata develops and delivers business software for companies in the automotive and equipment industries based on Microsoft Azure solutions. Annata has entered into long-term subscription agreements with many of the largest manufacturers and distributors within these two industries.
