Ar­i­on Bank main­tains an out­stand­ing sus­tain­abil­i­ty rat­ing ac­cord­ing to Re­itun

Arion Bank has received an outstanding rating in Reitun’s ESG risk assessment and is classified in category A3. This is the sixth consecutive year that Reitun has rated the bank among the leading companies in this field in Iceland. The assessment is based on the bank’s performance in relation to sustainability, i.e. in the areas of environmental and social factors as well as governance.

The bank maintains 90 points out of a possible 100, thereby continuing to meet the increasing demands of the assessment year on year. Ninety points is the highest score that Reitun has awarded, and the bank is among a group of five other issuers in the A3 category, out of around 45 Icelandic issuers that have been assessed. The market average is 73 points out of 100, which corresponds to category B2.
