Billing service for individuals

The billing service in Online Banking is an efficient way of issuing and collecting bills for companies, organizations and the self-employed. The billing system will save you both time and money.

Collect rent

When applying for the rent collection service, you must first make a claim service agreement, sign the agreement electronically or bring a signed original copy of the agreement to your local branch. You also need to complete an application for rent collection and send it to us by e-mail to arionbanki@arionbanki.is. You can also make any changes to the rent on the same form, including information on the tenant, the rent amount and whether the rent is linked to a price index. The rent collection form can be found below.

Please note that all changes to the service must be notified before the 20th of each month.

What is included in the service?

  • Collect rent by setting up direct debit in any bank. Suitable for all types of landlords. Collect other costs or separate fees in the same payment slip, e.g. for heating or electricity.
  • Payment slips and statements.
  • The landlord decides the due date and final due date.
  • You can also select the default charges and whether penalty interest applies. Paid payment slips are transferred to the landlord's account at the Bank.
  • Lists of outstanding debts, payments and names can be obtained in Online Banking at any time.
  • The cost of this service is as specified in the Bank’s fee list.

 

B2B web service

B2B is a communications tool for corporate book-keeping systems which allows information to be exchanged between the user and the Bank. Users work almost entirely in the book-keeping system without going into the online bank. It is suitable for all companies, local authorities, institutions and organizations, of any size.

No start-up fee or annual fee is paid to the Bank for B2B. Please note, however, that B2B is a communications tool used to perform various banking tasks which may incur a fee. Arion Bank requires the use of electronic ID when using the service, which means in this case company ID or software ID from Auðkenni, not mobile phone ID. In order to access the service the user must enter into an online banking agreement with the Bank.

Companies contact their software company which sets up a link to the relevant company’s book-keeping system. The software company connects the company’s electronic ID and user access in the online banking account.
