Ari­on Bank: Co­v­ered Bond Exchange Of­fer Results

The exchange offer results in Arion Bank buying back ISK 580m nominal in the series ARION CBI 26.

In relation to Arion Bank‘s covered bond auction in the series ARION CBI 31 yesterday, holders of the series ARION CBI 26 were offered to sell holdings in the series at a predetermined clean price of 100 in exchange for subscriptions made in the offering.

The exchange offer results in Arion Bank buying back ISK 580 m nominal in the series ARION CBI 26.

Settlement will take place on 15th April 2026.

The offering was managed by Arion Bank Capital Markets.

The preliminary discussions between Kvika banki hf. and Arion banki hf. with the Competition Authority regarding the proposed merger have now concluded. Representatives of Kvika banki and Arion banki met with representatives of the Competition Authority today, during which the authority presented its position following the completion of the preliminary discussions process.
