Arion Bank hf.: Covered Bond Auction on 1 June 2026

Arion Bank will offer ISK-denominated covered bonds in the series ARION CBI 31 on Monday June 1 2026.

ARION CBI 31 is an inflation-linked covered bond series with a fixed 3.65% interest rate, maturing on August 20, 2031.

The bonds will be offered in a single-price auction, where all accepted offers will be awarded at the highest accepted yield. Arion Bank reserves the right to accept or reject offers in part or in whole.
In connection with the auction, a covered bond exchange offering will take place. Holders of the covered bond ARION CBI 26 will have the opportunity to exchange the series for covered bonds in the aforementioned auction. The clean price of the exchange offering is 100.

The expected settlement date is 8 June 2026. Both cash and ARION CBI 26 exchange offering proceeds will be accepted as payment.

The auction is managed by Arion Bank Capital Markets. Offers shall be submitted before 16:00 GMT on Monday, 1 June 2026, by email to skuldabrefamidlun@arionbanki.is.

Arion Bank: Launch of share buy-back program

Today, the Financial Supervisory Authority of the Central Bank of Iceland granted Arion Bank authorization to buy back up to ISK 5.0 billion of its own shares in Iceland and Sweden, and to reduce its share capital. Consequently, the Bank's management has decided to initiate buy-backs of up to ISK 5.0 billion, or up to 26,600,000 shares and SDRs, representing approximately 1.93% of the Bank’s share capital.
