Arion Bank and Vörður have today, 5 May 2026, opened a new branch in Reykjanesbær. Vörður’s current offices at Krossmói are being relocated to shared premises with Arion Bank at Aðalgata 64. The new location offers excellent access from the main road Reykjanesbraut via Aðaltorg, and ample parking will be available outside the branch.

Arion Bank has published its Impact and Allocation Report for green financing for 2025. The report provides an overview of the allocation of funds to projects that meet the criteria for green financing under the Bank’s Sustainable Finance Framework and highlights the positive environmental and climate impacts of those projects.
