Our role at Controlant is to help international pharmaceutical companies deliver their medications/products to the right place and in the right condition.
The Controlant device accompanies products in pharmaceutical shipments, and through real-time data and analysis, we enable our customers to streamline their supply chain while reducing and, ultimately, eliminating almost all waste.
Pharmaceuticals are highly sensitive to temperature changes, making it essential to respond quickly if temperature variations occur during transport. Controlant's real-time monitoring and response service means it's now possible to monitor medication shipments anywhere in the world and inform carriers if they need to respond to temperature changes.
Minimal waste can significantly reduce costs for companies and customers, making the benefits substantial when successful. Our goal is to reduce waste in the supply chain by 90%. It's a very ambitious goal, but our experience over the past two years has shown us that it's entirely possible. For example, Controlant monitors were used to track all of Pfizer's COVID-19 vaccine shipments, with six trillion vaccine doses monitored and a delivery reliability of 99.89%.
