Our goal is to offer customers the best coffee available in the most environmentally friendly way possible. We have recently achieved two major milestones in this regard.
In recent years, we have maintained a climate accounting system, and the results showed us that our direct carbon emissions were largely due to the energy source we used to roast our coffee.
Last year, we replaced it with methane produced at Sorpa's gas and composting station. This was a larger undertaking than we initially realized, but it will pay off many times over as we now run our coffee roasting entirely on domestic and environmentally friendly energy. As a result, our direct carbon emissions are at an absolute minimum compared to previous years.

We have also switched to biodegradable packaging for our coffee, whether it's beans, ground, coffee pods, or coffee capsules – we've recently started offering our great coffee in organic coffee capsules. The packaging should be sorted with organic waste as it breaks down in the gas and composting station. What's exciting is that in Sorpa's process, they become the methane gas that powers our coffee roasting. Our own circular system.
Sustainability is an endless journey in everything we do in production, operations, and product development. We want to create a specific experience for the customer: quality coffee in an environmentally friendly and sustainable way. That's what we consider success.

Success can take many forms. Companies have different and diverse goals, but our role is to help clients achieve the results they are aiming for.

We wanted to create a design-driven clothing brand. The inspiration comes from our surroundings, Icelandic nature and culture with a small dash of rural romanticism.

We got the idea for Lava Show when we witnessed the eruption at Fimmvörðuháls.

We want to be a powerful attraction for Borgarfjörður eystri. Blábjörg is therefore all at once a hotel, restaurant, spa, brewery and café.

We wanted to build on the Icelandic tradition of dried fish, which is as old as settlement in Iceland, but approach it in a new way.

The idea almost ten years ago was to build a house around innovation in Iceland. The project is not about renting office space but rather creating a new community here.

Rafholt is 20 years old and has for years been one of the largest companies in the country in the electrical industry sector.

Kvistabær produces tree seedlings for forestry and serves companies involved in carbon offsetting, forestry associations, and public institutions, among others.

Gróðurhúsið er hugmyndafræði þar sem við nálgumst hótel-, verslana- og veitingaupplifun á nýjan hátt.
