Women invest - How and Why to Start Investing

Safa Jamai will open the event with an insightful talk about her journey. Safa is an accomplished entrepreneur in two diverse fields: IT and Authentic handmade Spice production. She also serves on the board of several Icelandic start-up companies. It is safe to say that she has experience way beyond her years.

Snædís Ögn Flosadóttir will then guide us through the basics of investing, key concepts, and how to start investing in funds, stocks, and bonds. Snædís has approximately 18 years of experience in the financial markets, including 8 years as a pension fund managing director and 10 years in various roles within markets.

The lecture will last about an hour, followed by discussion and questions.
