    Arion Bank branches will be closed on Tuesday 24 October due to the Women’s Strike

    Arion Bank branches will be closed on Tuesday 24 October due to the Women’s Strike - mynd

    Around 60% of Arion Bank’s employees are women and many of them will go on strike tomorrow, Tuesday 24 October. By going on strike they are protesting against the undervaluing of women’s work and taking a stand against gender-based and sexual violence against women and non-binary people.

    We support this strike action and will be closing all the Bank’s branches and Vörður service points on Tuesday 24 October.

    The Call Centre will be open but running reduced services, and the same applies to services via webchat and e-mail.

    The Arion app and online banking will be open and running as normal.
